Partnering with Adelaide, a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE), can help Architectural and Engineering firms (or any other company involved in Federal, State or Municipal renovation or demolition work) in their pursuit of government contracts. This is because many of these projects require that as much as fifteen percent of work bids be contracted with WBEs.

Adelaide Environmental Health Associates has been a New York State Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) since 2001. Under Article 15-A of the Executive Law, a WBE is a business enterprise in which at least fifty-one percent is owned, operated and controlled by citizens who are women. We also have held a similar certification on the federal level since 2011.

As such, we can definitely help New York state A&E firms seeking partners in the pursuit of government contracts with WBE requirements; it is a big reason why many architectural and engineering firms work with us for asbestos detection and asbestos remediation design and monitoring.

But it’s not the primary reason. Architectural and Engineering firms say they select us because we have over 35 years of experience and we are experts in helping them contend with hazardous materials in renovation and demolition projects. This experience enables us to bring the highest levels of accuracy, efficiency and cost-effectiveness to asbestos detection, asbestos remediation design and asbestos remediation monitoring.
